The system really fails the children. We wonder why kids grow up to be low functioning adults. It's because parents like this get to keep their children instead of being held accountable.

I watched the body cam this morning, it broke my heart when I saw him go up to the female cop without hesitation and hug her leg. I really hope that kid gets the love and attention he needs, preferably from his mother. I hope this was a true wake up call for her and she repairs the relationship with her young son while she still can.

I put a comment on the original video saying that I was upset that she wasn’t held accountable and the child wasn’t taken away even if it was a short time and given to the grandmother until she took parenting classes. I’ve gotten tons of replies saying that is was just one mistake and that the child should stay with her because they shouldn’t break up a family for one mistake. Apparently I’m like one of the only people that thinks leaving your very young child alone at night to go party is a big deal and that she should have been held more accountable. Here aunt lives down the street and her mother was there in minutes once she was called; not to mention she even has a nanny. Why if she wanted to go out couldn’t she leave him with one of these three people. Leaving a child by himself is not a mistake. I guess I’m too judgmental and too old fashioned, but I would never leave a young child alone.

It’s usually not “illegal” to leave your child unsupervised although it’s “not advised,” that’s probably why the charges were dropped. I work for CPS in Arkansas and at least here, that wouldn’t be enough to take custody of a child from his/her parents

My mum had to leave us home alone at one point but that was when my brother 14-16 and I was like 12-14 and my little brother was like 9-11, even then she got babysitters when she could and let both our next door neighbours know we were home alone and if we had any trouble we could go to them, but by then I was mature enough to know not to wander off or let strangers in and I knew how to use a phone, leaning a toddler unsupervised is super dangerous

Something similar happened to my cousin, really good ppl and all, but bad neighbors with nothing better to do. So my cousins, one was 14 at the time and the younger one was around 7 years old, they were home with their dad, mother was at work. Their dad went to the shop to get some groceries, the shop was literally 5min away. While their dad was at the shop, a neighbor called the police, cuz the kids were left home alone. We'll this resulted in parent divorce, kids living with a different family tf, like some random family for 5 something months, eventually when the case closed, they got to live with their mother, the dad now lives in a different country. Like wtf, all this to just quickly get some groceries from the shop, I know the kids pretty well, they are gamers, they don't want to dress up, just to go for a quick trip to the shop. Shame on the neighbor for ruining this family.

I remember seeing her on my fyp all the time leading up to this and she started getting tons of comments about how can she have this party lifestyle and have a kid full time? I’m guessing a part time nanny is you hire them for around three or four hours like ones a week but a full time nanny is like a job but they help you with stuff that you want them to help you with for like eight hours or at a certain time in the day for most of the week or a couple of days

Quick Pro tip for "Small Town/city" law enforcement. This only generally works in non major cities, as they don't have the funding of the big ones. DA's in smaller cities love to "cut deals" that will enrich the city. So generally if the crime committed has no "victim" as in... no one was hurt, nothing was really damaged, no one died, etc.... you know like... basic child neglect... they will allow the person to pay a HEAVY fine instead of having to go to court. example from my real life. Accidentally went through a red light... was talking with my wife, wasn't paying attention, ran a red light at night, i was the only car on the road, but it doesn't matter, i broke the law, and a cop saw it and pulled me over. Instant ticket. (not debating it, i was def in the wrong and deserved the ticket) contacted the DA, cut a deal... Paid a MUCH steeper fine, and agreed to have 0 traffic infractions (even parking) for 6 months, If i had failed that 6 months, i would have gotten hit with the original infraction + the new one. Instead I kept my nose clean, paid attention while driving, and completed the 6 months without issue. The difference in ticket price was this.... My red light ticket was about 120 bucks.... but also points on my license, it would have raised my insurance rates... just bad news everywhere. Cutting this deal meant i had to pay 500 dollars.... but that was it... no infractions, no points, no record, no raised insurance rates. Im just a nobody, a regular working man... so the DA where she was at probably saw that TikTok $$$ and said "lets make a deal"

There could’ve been a house fire. There could’ve been a break in , and someone could’ve kidnapped the child, that child could have died that night alone. No deal warrants them dropping those charges. This is what is wrong with our society today she gets a slap on the wrist and that poor child gets put back in harms way by being allowed to be with her with no repercussions. What has she learned from this ? that she can go out and get laid, leave her a child alone and nothing comes of it. Good job.

Im gonna guess ur kidfree & never had to handle childcare. A Nanny is like a personal daycare provider. Ppl work ALL Kinds of different hours. Its IMPORTANT to have Great/Good communication/understanding with Anyone who interacts w/ ur child. Its important to have a Co-Parenting relationship (nanny/daycare provider) or even Grandma to give the child the Love/Support ALL KIDS DESERVE to HAVE!! Wow, I actually read about this when it first happened, but the report was crazy different from this video. 1st off, the report said the neighbors noticed the child "screaming in the back yard," n that's y they called the cops. Then it said she took an hour n a half after the cops got there to find her, but according to this video, it seemed like 20-45 mins tops. Lastly when she showed up she was in a "tight black dress, n dolled up in makeup, n smelled of alcohol." That just goes to show y no body trusts cops, n no matter how bad the original crime is, cops will always lie to make it worse. Regardless she is a shit mother who doesn't deserve such a sweet kid.

Bruh full time nanies are awesome and ur giving a job to someone, s When u have 3 kids sometimes need help and ur not lucky to have grandparents etc.. the nanny becomes part of the family. You have no choice but to do that to make money. But I get it if you don't have a Manny and you're fine and you have family helping if your mom helping your grandparents open and you get a nanny. Well, if you have the money, I guess it's fine but if you're not gonna take care of the kid with the nanny then. Yeah, your bad parents. That's all good, that's how it goes.

@@twilightresonance1789 yeah but y'all are commenting like this happened last week. I'm sure the family has moved on from this and healed from the incident. Y'all just love to demonize people.

She reacted by saying “we just moved here” because there was no chance the child would know their way home. Making it even more horrible.

Excactly what I was thinking and you could tell by how shocked she was, she struggled to find words of expression for what´s up her mind right now.

You'd think having a kid would be enough for their low attention span as they have to constantly monitor them for 18 years This is just being a neglectful PoS
