Chef Nate brings you Flake Steak-another TikTok-tested recipe that's stacked, skewered, and seared to perfection. The hot honey glaze adds a sweet and savory crust to this ribeye twist that’s sure to impress!

Ingredients
1 ribeye steak (1½ - 2 inches thick)
8 green onions, trimmed
2 cups sliced shiitake mushrooms
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. garlic paste
1 tsp. ginger paste
1 tsp. hot honey
Blackstone Blackened Steak Seasoning
Blackstone S.P.G. Seasoning
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Olive oil
8 wooden skewers
Sesame seeds
Optional: Gochujang or Sriracha
Directions
1. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic paste, ginger paste, and hot honey. Mix well.
2. Slice the steak into ¼-inch strips. Stack 4 strips together and slice down the middle. Trim the edges and skewer. Repeat with the remaining steak strips. Season each side with Blackstone Blackened Steak Seasoning.
3. Preheat your Blackstone griddle to high heat. Drizzle with olive oil. Cook the steak skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side.
4. On the other side of the griddle, add the butter, green onions, and mushrooms. Season with Blackstone S.P.G. Seasoning. Toss and cook for 3-4 minutes.
5. In the last 30 seconds of cooking, drizzle some of the sauce over each skewer and swirl to coat the meat.
6. To serve, place the mushrooms and green onions on a plate. Top with the steak skewers. Garnish with sesame seeds and a drizzle of Sriracha or Gochujang, if desired.

Andy does a great job on your show, Nate. You should tell CJ to give him an opportunity over on his show. 🤣. So this is probably the most compatible recipe with my household. Everyone under this roof loves all those ingredients and flavors! Can’t wait to do this one!

As noted a few times on other posts to BB, you, Todd, etc., the “clock is ‘ticking’” for when I have to relinquish my late father’s q-grill in this mobile home park, with which I KNOW I’m successful concerning bone-in poultry (even if I DO finish it in the oven once in a while 😉)….
