my mother told me to go outside today, but little does she know i’ve spent all day exploring the forest in the warm late-summer air, finding a new favorite book reading spot. i eventually do, a quiet and peaceful stream with birds always chirping, rabbits running around, and curious deer seeing if you have any snacks. when i come back home, i bathe in sudsy water and crawl into my lavish and comfortable bed covers to finish the book.

I go to a private school but it’s not fancy. Tbh most public schools are fancier. Dark academia feels like a mix of sitting In a warm room with candlelight illuminating the words of the book in reading and sitting down in a open gothic cathedral while a violin plays beautiful melodies. Raindrops hit the round windows as I start back awake. Maybe it was the warm candlelight hitting the titles on the vintage bookshelves, how it glanced off and danced on the apricot walls. Perhaps it was the sweet scent of the flower vase on my study table, or the gentle scratch of my own quill that lulled me to sleep. I shake my head of all drowsiness and set right back to work. No time to rest, not with all the letters left to write. Addresses, well wishes, wax and sticker stamps will fly, and what better place to do it then here in my humble little library. I sip on my herbal tea as I take in my collection of old friends on the wall. Yes, there is no better place to be.

Recommendation Watch The Phantom Of The Opera. It’s really good and it’s very light/dark academia, not to forget the beautiful singing. It also has Patrick Wilson (pretty sure that’s his name) in the 2004 movie who has been in a lot of horror movie series such as Insidious and The Conjuring

4:30 okay but like do people actually not know that the whole gothic thing wasn't even about buildings and their colours? It basically was about how people were just concerned about heaven and hell, following whatever the priests or pope (or whoever they were) said and not living their life properly because they didn't want to commit any kind of sins and painters and other architects were kind of oppressed not being able to do anything bright because you'd to focus on how to go to heaven and it's said that most people at that time became deppressed... So yeah it never was about buildings but about people and their mindsets...

Day 2 of making poetry!! What about the seasons, i think. It changes to another in a blink. But what if they were like us? What if we didnt discard them like rust. What about summer, Where we lay on the beach? Where the bright sun is always in reach? Or maybe spring? Where plants grow? But theyre deadly to their foe? Perhaps autumn, Where red leaves fall. Red,Yellow and Brown are seen by all. Or do you mean winter? Where everything is snow? One of the most cold to go. Cant forget the minor seasons! Tropical, Or rain? The small countrys would be in such pain! What if WE were not in such hubris? We wouldnt want to be so foolish.
