omg i didn’t know having ocd was a sign of being an empath, guess I can throw out all my meds and stop going to therapy!!! But seriously it really annoys me when people who know nothing about mental health/illness say stuff like that, insinuating that intrusive thoughts a ‘fun and quirky special power’ amongst other things

these tiktok people are so weird... an empath is someone who can read people's emotions/read the room they are in (sometimes due to trauma). it's so weird seeing them connect empathy with 'spiritually'. spiritually is a belief system and empathy is some kind of emotion. these two are not connected with each other. this is nonsense 🙁☝ I love to see some good "empath" slander.

Your channel's insanely underrated, my guy. This whole thing reminds me of someone I knew. She was into all that psychic empath stuff, and also believed she had an alien elf soul?? Looking back, definitely an undiagnosed mental health issue. Anyhow, she'd always use this empath stuff to stomp over anyone venting or something because "stop!!! You're making me feel it too!!!" and I always wondered if i was being too harsh by finding that weird. So i'm glad to know i'm not the only one who finds this stuff... odd.

judging actual empaths by these fakers on tiktok is like getting mental health diagnoses on tiktok. please do some more research beforehand. empaths do exist according to psychologists.
