The Booth brothers were geniuses, it's incredible how familiar their songs still sound today, Ulterior Motives is proof of that, many people actually confused the song with that of other budding artists from the 80s, congratulations on the video, I hope Chris and Philip put these songs on a second album, I hope that by then this song gains a lot of recognition and people use AI to clean up the audio and even cover the missing parts, since the song is not complete.

Yes, the song was recorded in 85 but was used in the 1986 adult film Angels Of Passion, hence the confusion, many think that Chris and Philip recorded the song exclusively for that film but it is not true, Chris himself confirmed it in an interview that they intended to release the music publicly but as they were broke, they sold the album Ulterior Motives to the studio that produced Angels Of Passion.

I put 1986 as the year as although it was never a commercial single, that was its year of "release" (ie public distribution) through it being in Angels of Passion which came out that year
