Hope that's not how you do your roofing . Fixing battens directly on to roofing paper how does any water get away it will be trapped behide the battens. You need a spacer under battens

You might want to breathe and watch the rest of their videos a-hole; maximizing water and airflow by raising the batons is well-discussed in their other training materials - here he's just demonstrating basics. And feel free to walk around some roofing job sites in Arizona and offer YOUR free, kind advice; every tile roof I've EVER seen (from the dredges of Phoenix to the heights of Sedona) were done fast and cheap this way. But I'm sure all the million dollar roofs you sold and installed were done WAY better, right!? Ahahahaha! 😂🍆💦🙀
