Guilherme, eu estou tentado fazer uma engine 3d em opengl mas sinto muita dificuldade em estruturar meu projeto no visual studio, você poderia fazer um vídeo sobre organização :)

I've already made it. It was the first video of this engine series, two weeks ago.

@@drip_sand this is a great question! I think that id you're starting, specially at this age (Ive also started very young), what is most important, even more than the language, is the mindset behind it. Make sure you know that you love engines and you want to follow this path. It's definitely worth it, but 90% of the people you will talk with will say the opposite. So it's hard to stay motivated. Once you know that, check the video I made on this channel with the subject "How to make a game engine", you'll find a lot of good tips and information about it. Regarding the programming language, I recommend you Python to get started and then C/C++. That's the only thing that you'll probably ever need in this area. If you want, consider joining our discord server to talk more about all that! 😁

Also you can check out CS50 course on youtube (there is 2024 version I believe), it's completely free. It can be a bit too tough for you, but it teaches very fundamental stuff about programming and computer science in general. Its really helpful to understand those basic concepts, so if you can comprehend it it would be a great starting point.

I recommend you learn The web first because most people at your age like doing creative things. so I will say that learn html css and js first that I will take 1-2 months to learn it. Pros. -> easy to setup editor -> easy language -> no linker and compiler error problems -> work on any platform (window, android, linux, ios, etc) Cons. -> hard to learn fundamental in how memory works 😅 -> easy to forget syntax bcuz too much keywords 😅 -> too much level high level abstraction (from c/c++ dev 👀) But if you are patient in learning programming learn c/c++ will take 4-5 month basic because pointer , oops(c++), template (c++),then what side are you focusing like application, web-sever, games, game-engine, music side part this is upto you Pros. -> learn so much low level. -> learn how to manage memory . -> learn optimization -> very flexible language -> can do anything in the language -> hard to forget syntax after learning properly 😂 Cons. -> linker error 😂 -> complier error 😂 -> hard to setup 😢 -> no garbage collector language 😮💨 -> have to learn build tool(cmake,premake,vs2022 solution😅) for building project. -> hard to setup for multi platform 😢
