Interesting watch in comparison to sleeping with the enemy. What I like about this version is that it gives more background into their relationship and how he became abusive and violent. You see at the beginning that there are hints he makes all the decisions and is controlling i.e. picking a white piano when she wanted a black one. But as soon as she showed her justified anger over the children scenario his true colours came out and we saw what he was really like. I did however think the death and how they faked it was a bit sloppy. The fact she was in hospital and had friends working there etc, word would have got out much quicker that she was actually still alive. Decent re-make though.
