When I did a kind of "renegade" playthrough and I told Cullen to not stop using lyrium I was really devastated when I learned that he went nuts and died alone and decayed years later. Asked for his family he replied "They won't recognize me anymore, hell, I don't recognize myself anymore". Made me remember that in a BioWare game you have to be careful what you say and what you do. Sometimes the consequences come full circle and bite you in the neck when you don't see it coming.

Ah, I remember when I got introduced to DAI properly when I finished my first playthrough. ( It was terrible by the way, chose the templars had no idea there were other companions you could get ). I decided to make a new inquisitor. Elora Trevelyan, a fellow mage. And Cullen was my very first romance! Ah, brings back the memories.

TheFallingTheory okay thanks. It makes sense I guess because the first time, I was trying to romance Dorian, so I never got the romance option and the second time I sided with the tenplars.
