Very cool talk! I'm curious if artificial increases in autophagy might result in any downregulation of the MMPs and other genes that were referenced as being unregulated when the UPS is blocked by aggregates.

Beautiful! Fasting induces autophagy; and excess glucose/hyperinsulinemia causes ROS possibly due to vegetable oils and highly refined junk foods, no?
