Many kids Can play ping pong for 5-10 years in clubs and have no to Very limited techniques because the free local trainers have low rankings and no salary for teaching. They teach FH bh drills not pure techniques. A few elites cadets juniors who show some skills naturally are detected and then they join the pro training centers and become really good Very fast. For example Félix Lebrun and Alexis Lebrun . Not to mention Calderano Moregard Gauzy and all the japanese chinese Prodigy. What Ti Long IS teaching IS awsome. I've learned so many things in such a short périod of Time.

Perfect explanation:) as far as I understand the most important thing is the body rotation. I struggle a lot with the topspin technic and now will focus more on my hip and body rotation:) thanks Ti Long for the tips!:)

Amazing stuff, my friend always asked me why I was jumping and leaning back, I had no idea how to correct that error in a constructive way, but now I have some basic exercises I’ll be performing to ground my basic looping and hopefully I’ll miss fewer balls and even fewer tables. Thank you.

17:00 misunderstand create spin by wrist? what does this mean? wrist not useful? or the fact that we need to also rely on body to create spin?

I think children naturally develop habit of force going up because of their short height and lack of power, so they need to go up to get the ball over the net.
@Dark-vg9nw
@Dark-vg9nw 2 жыл бұрын
I’m 13 years old, about 160 centimetres tall. I used to have that habit, but if you really try to lower your center of gravity and bend your knees for a long period of time, you get used to it.

Hello Ti Long I'm from Croatia, an amateur, I'm 60 years old and I started playing when I was 50...thanks for every video, it helps me a lot to understand the shots...I have a few questions, i.e. did I understand correctly...1. forehand drive...leg position...right back and left forward at an angle of 45...weight transfer from right to left forward...is that OK

racket angle is 45...elbow at hip level...swing parallel to the body...swing forward up...when swinging the weight is on the left leg...is everything ok
@renataflorjanic3180
@renataflorjanic3180 2 жыл бұрын
2. forehand topspin...leg position...the distance widens from the shoulders at an angle of e.g. 20...turn in the hips backwards so that the left shoulder is forward...the hand is below the height of the hips, extended at an angle of 120. ..racket angle 45 or less...turn in the hips and feet forward...in the shot I close the elbow...is everything ok
@renataflorjanic3180
@renataflorjanic3180 2 жыл бұрын
summary... forehand drive and forehand topspin are two different body positions... forehand drive, the body goes from the right leg to the left leg forward...position of the left leg in front of the right leg, the distance between the legs is, for example, shoulder width or 50 cm at an angle of 45° where is the best place to put your hand here? in front of the chest next to the body? here it is important that the body moves forward and does not rise but remains in a lowered position forehand topspin...turns the whole body in the legs and hips the distance between the legs is greater than shoulder width, greater than 50 cm, with a smaller angle, say 20° the left shoulder is in front of the body, the left hand is in front of the body at an angle of 45° in the position where I am waiting for the ball to come when the ball reaches the left palm, I rotate my whole body, legs, hips and shoulders did i understand correctly? if I missed something important, please fill me in

What you showed the boy, all were very basic. Any coach should know these. You told the boy to say people in Sweden do not know as much you do. How lame it is. Sweden has quite a few world champions. Just in case you do not know.

Don't judge bro. Maybe the boy do not have exposure the kind of coach like him in sweden, thats why he said that words.
@dzungpv
@dzungpv 2 жыл бұрын
@@andrewd.2084 exactly that is the case! The boy felt sorry as he did not mean to generalize his limited view. There is no arrangement around this and it is typically not possible to ask a kid from Sweden to tell things different from what he/she thinks.
