I'm so glad I'm not the only one that likes to rearrange spaces!! My husband thinks I'm nuts! We have hardwood floors & some large rugs. You should buy some furniture sliders to help when you move heavy pieces of furniture. We purchased ours years ago at our local home improvement store, but they have them on Amazon also. We bought the ones that are smooth plastic (to use on carpet) that came with a carpet piece to slide over it (to use on hard surfaces). They have really saved my back! Love your videos & how everything looks so clean and simple!

You can always use a large towel to move furniture easier I do that all the time or use the sliders they sell.

I found command type strips that are Velcro for rugs at one of the big box home stores. I love them. They have the pull tabs and come up clean. Plus, you can move the rugs to clean under them....great for small rugs. I've never tried on large ones...yet. Just an FYI.

A hack I have seen is using the painters tape-put it on the back of the frame where the holes are for nails, take it off the frame and put the tape on the wall, make sure the tape is straight and you already know where the nail holes are for the pictures.

Hi Ashley. Thanks for the motivation. Love the space. Try putting towels or rags will work on those furniture legs and it makes moving furniture easier. Don’t slide it too fast if you happen to have some uneven spots on your floor.

Use piano wire or string from one hook to the other in the back of the frames. That way each frame only needs one nail in the wall to hang.

I have ash wood floors, to remove adhesive I will use lemon essential oils. A great tip to hold a rug down is to use office putty and it comes up with the rug. Good for outdoors too.

love this new look as usual! I have a jute natural rug I got from target several years ago in our living room on top if wood floors and it has held up so great. Your spring clean with mw video motivated m e and I just ran out today and got a machine from bissell called the little green machine ( we have all solid surface floors) and it did a great job. WE have a sweet 12 year old dog and a crazy puppy so now all smells are fresh!!!! Thanks for always posting such thoughtful, motivating and calming videos. They make my morning. Robin from Detroit

Pick up a couple sets of furniture gliders at your local big box store. They are life safers. They allow you to move furniture easily and prevent scratching of floors. I am able to shove around furniture by myself (I'm 70 years old) without help with the aid of those gliders. The exercise comes from hefting up the legs of furniture or corners of furniture without legs enough to get the sliders underneath them. The rest is a breeze.
