Craftsman tools with a legit lifetime warranty... I remember those days. Try returning a warrantied craftsman wrench today. They are good at finding ways to blame the failure on the customer these days. That indicates loss of faith in their own products. Which leads to a possible change to a cheaper steel supplier making inferior steel. And when their wrench which was designed for and used on a 12mm bolt folds exactly like non-hardened steel, that too is somehow the customer's fault. And it also lends credibility to the inferior steel theory. They say excessive leverage was used because they know 99% of people are not recording their every daily action. Without video evidence of the failure, they skirt around their warranty.

I remember seeing this show live on tv back in the 8o's. Allen, Wayne Cotter, and another guy, think his first name may have been Vic? Had London hair pulled back in a ponytail. Did a funny bit about going to Catholic school. Anyone remember this guy I'd love to see that again!

I had this show on VHS around 1988? Tim Allen had me in stitches but also Wayne Cotter had a great bit about Ayds candies “Think those people are a little upset? Why couldn’t it be Doritos? Or a candy that already sounds like a disease, “Goobers”? 😂😂

I can't figure out what's supposed to be funny here. I couldn't figure out what was funny about home improvement, or the newer show, last man standing. Laughing at your own bad jokes is a trait Phyllis Diller used to do. She wasn't funny either. Lately, I can't seem to get away from him. The local comedy channel runs his shows back to back, usually from around 6 am to around 11 or so. Now they're running a marathon all weekend. When I came home from Germany the last time in 1996, Tim Allen was on. Feels like he's never been off the air. Maybe its me. Maybe I don't have a sense of humor. I used to watch a lot of stand up comedians. Most are not funny. Most sitcoms seem to turn into soap operas, like MASH did. Even if he WERE funny, the family and friends and household tend to lead to drama/soap opera stuff. Nothing new though, that was already present in sitcoms of the 1950s. One reason Seinfeld is funny, even though Jerry isn't is because they generally avoid deterioration into drama and soap opera. It appears intentional. Preventing permanent relationships, no kids, insane family members if any.
