ABC And producers/writers/director. PLEASE STAY TOGETHER. They are the most couple From the entire series, they have supported each other and learned to be better people, police officers. Please 🙏, they have supported each other at all times, when their partners didn't want them, when Isabel abandoned him for drugs and got divorced. The least they deserve is to be together, they bring out the best in each other.On the other, personally and professionally. It is also the couple as more chemistry 🎉❤🔥🎇. They are perfect for each other, if you BREAK that relationship. I assure you that I stop watching the series and it is a series 10. With some 10 actors, and on top of that the CHENFORD couple are two of my favorite charactersI ask you from Spain not to break that couple because the series needs that touch. And also I would feel VERY sad because on top of that I love Nathan Fillion even more.

Okay so I finished watching the series yesterday and I want to share my thoughts on the future of chenford. To be honest I'm not really sure what I want for them. I definitely want them to stay together because they really are a great fit, I mean especially Tim has always been soft for Lucy- I always loved the fact that she was respectful enough as his rookie but had a playful, awkward and very charming side that helped him not take himself too seriously, and balanced his strict appearance, I liked that she was not too intimidated but not too bold eitheir. However after they got together there are several things I'm skeptical about. First, I always felt that I loved their character individually so much equally but now I feel like there are some aspects of Lucy's personality that have kind of changed, I can't quite put my finger on it, whereas I still love Tim and feel like he remained true to himself while also evolving nicely thanks to Lucy's influence (i always loved his ability to separate personal and professional, he's just a really good and well written character overall). Secondly, I think it's too bad that their relationship has become as someone else already said a bit too "domesticated". Like I get it, it's a difficult balance to strike between wanting to show that them being together is something evident and they are naturally good together, yet at the same time keeping an awkwardness because well, up until recently they were both pretty unsure of their respective feelings for each other.. I miss the scenes like for example when he was avoiding choosing her as his aide, or when she played a prank on him with his radio, those were my favorite and made them so great together I feel like. Lastly, about her being a UC, look I get it she loves it but sometimes I feel like it's not clear whether she's really taking Tim's feelings into account. The scene where she tells him she's not worried about herself if having to go undercover for a long time but about Tim given his experience with Isabel, felt a bit... Idk, insincere ? Even here she makes promises but I have a hard time believing her because she really is so ambitious about becoming a UC and she might see her relationship with Tim as an obstacle in the future even if she says it won't, as people said i don't understand how she can be so confident given Isabel's and also Harper's experience. Overall it seems Tim cares more, but I could he wrong. So I guess for the future I see either her actually beating the odds and truly being different as everyone seems to think, but I'm curious about how it's gonna be done. OR, and if done well it wouldn't be too bad, they do break up because of her wanting to give it her all as a UC. As i said they are great characters individually, I could totally see some episodes centered around each of their careers, each kicking ass (him as metro liaison sergeant and her as a UC), and then getting back together through maybe a conjoint mission, maybe even going undercover again, idk i haven't really thought about it for now.. But as we've seen in the finale they"re badass when working together so that could be great. And them getting back together would also be a great time for a I love you scene and realizing even more that they belong together because for now I think we haven't seen it a lot, it has not really been spoken. What could be a great addition is if Lopez and Harper for example during their breakup would comment on the fact that it's a shame and that they believe they could make it work because they're really great together, Lopez talking about never having seen Tim so happy stuff like that, especially since we were robbed of their reactions when they got together. I would actually really enjoy all of it. Aaaand that's my rant lol what do you all think ? Would love to hear some thoughts ! PS : feel like a lot of people are going to disagree with my comments about Lucy not caring as much about the relationship as for UC work, let's see haha Oh and another good scene I would like to see more of is the "you owe me" scene, idk these type of dialogues suits them way more than being too cute and cuddly I feel like

Lucy undercover is by far one of the worst storylines this show has done. Lucy has been in THREE televised documentaries all about her being a cop and she can simultaneously be a UC? No. She also has been told by THREE previous UC’s (Nyla, Noah, & Isabel) that undercover work destroys your personal life and she really thinks she’s the exception? Stop. We’ve seen her since season 1 desperate (for lack of better words) to fall in love and have a healthy relationship- she finally gets that and is just so willing to jeopardize that? Never mind jeopardize the safety of the future family her and Tim have been talking about literally since their first date. You know; the same thing that happened to Nyla. The writers used to write Lucy as an insightful bad*ss and now they’re writing her as this delusional naive girl who thinks she’ll easily be the exception. It’s ridiculous at this point. Tim gave up his position for the betterment of their relationship and future together & then gave him an even better job. - They can do the same thing for Lucy. They need to end this crappy storyline before season 6 starts.

She's the perfect candidate for UC though and the point is that she's different from the other UCs in the past.she enjoys the thrill of going undercover and helping people. Her quick thinking and empathy saved Frank's life and prevented him from going back to prison. Lucy's storyline would be boring if she just stayed "patrol cop"like everyone else and didn't use her experience of almost dying as fuel to want to be UC and help prevent other people from going through what she went through. Plus it helps Tim get over his PTSD from Isabel by seeing how healthy UC relationships work and communication is key. It makes Tim's and Lucy's relationship stronger that they actually talked about his feelings and her feelings on the UC work

He has to deal with it or it's the end of their relationship. Leaving aside Lucy has been on TV 3 times! Last time discussing UC work, and apparently she is the go-to-gal for UC assignments at Mid-Wilshire now. Yes, that tracks completely. Lucy getting involved with Tim, knowing his past, and knowing she wants UC more than anything, is selfish and cruel. She should never have started this relationship, and this is coming from a ChenFord fan . , , albeit an increasingly less enthusiastic one. As always, Tim makes the sacrifices.

She did not give him an ultimatum. She reaffirmed with him that he needs to trust her and not let his past relationships be a lens for this one. Lucy literally told him she’ll give UC work if it comes to it. This was an old wound that opened back up especially with Isabel coming back into the picture recently. Their relationship has to go through tribulations and risks. Tim literally admits that a relationship that’s worth it has to be worth the disagreements and sacrifices and resolutions other wise it’d be too much of a safe relationship

The fun thing about this show is that there are 5000 storylines happening at once and they're all juggled nicely. Lopez had her episode last week with her being pregnant and stubborn, and then Nolan was helping his boot get solve her sister's death, and nyla with her baby and grey with his family. Like everyone has had their juggling spotlight and it's cool.
