I am from Oakland CA and I am so fortunate to have experienced listening and praising The Most High God to this talented, gifted and anointed family's incredible gospel music LIVE! in the late 70s, 80s & early 90s. This music brings back so many memories singing their music in my junior and high school choirs and also in the community choir I was apart of (OICC). What a wonderful tribute and very appropriate for Black History Month. 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

I love the Hawkins! This was one of the first times when I couldn’t help but think about Kim Burrell’s antics. I tried to not let it distract me but couldn’t help it. Walter Hawkins is my favorite and I appreciate them honoring the Hawkins family. Watching this made me miss those days when they were at their peak. Nice touch that they included the actual living family in this. Nobody can sing it like Walter and Tremaine though. My God, those two were breathtaking in their day!

It's between something years now and I'm so tired of Kim burrell. She is not all that and I'm tired of people acting like she hit the perfect note every time. 50% of the time she's doing her runs and stuff she's off key. And they always just fight it's a jazz no okay well jazz doesn't fit in classical doesn't fit in EDM doesn't fit in rock and roll all the time. It has its place in moments in each genre and sometimes not at all. I wish people would just be honest. She messed up the what is this song!
