Fingering is like a trumpet, as it is an electronic VALVE instrument or EVI, as opposed to the more commonly seen EWI (wind).

I'd contact John himself for EVI information. He is an accessible guy and certainly THE player I think of. Our setup has more going on than I can get to in a KZbin comment, so probably best for another time.
