Agreed, Being an aware defender can run a fine line between being alert and being paranoid. This is far on the side of being paranoid which in my eyes is not healthy. I think the tip of being aware of who follows you into the bathroom is a very valid point as well as just be aware if your not alone and it's a relatively secluded rest stop. Besides that the rest just seems like paranoia. I thought this video was going to be about how to secure your weapon when taking a dump, now that's a very needed video!

Why in the world would you place your gun in your dirty, sweaty underwear? If I need to sit down, I always use the last stall at the back. Why not carefully place the gun on top of the toilet tissue dispenser or brace it in between the hand grip and the dispenser? Or if you're paranoid of it falling off, place some tissue on the floor between the toilet and the wall out of view of anyone looking under the door?

Your situational awareness just got you into a situation. Edit: Your paranoia does not trump other peoples right to privacy. You seem to have developed this strategic threat analysis potty time strategy around yourself alone, without consideration of living in a society of fellow human beings. The vast majority of those fellow people are good people and no threat to you. Satisfying your paranoia seems to be more important in your mind than their right to privacy. You need to re-examine this nonsense through the eyes of a non narcissist. You are not the only person who's rights matter.

Basically what I teach my students. Also, when you entered the stall or any room that has a door, push and swing it wide to see if someone is standing behind it. Jus have your arm up and ready if so.
