Chris, it has been seven years since you and Home Free walked into the lives of a small group of teenage musicians and their music teacher....you, Rob, Tim, and Adam changed our lives immeasurably that night. I am somewhat of an adopted mom to many of my former students, given that I was their music teacher from fourth grade through graduation. While I do believe I make a difference in the lives of many children, YOU BOYS.....Well, I cannot put into words how grateful I am to you for inspiring my students to NEVER give up on their dreams. In only a few hours, you knocked our socks off, performing for a tiny audience in our enormous Glenn Miller Auditorium. Then, through a simple act of kindness, you sat with my small-town high school kids at the local Dairy Queen until well passed closing, sharing your stories and teaching us a little about life. You boys had a profound influence on each and everyone of us that night. I want you to know that because of you, I took a group of Colorado high school students to NYC, where we performed at Ground Zero. We dreamt of that moment and made it happen, knowing what it actually looked like to achieve a dream so hard-won. We were even granted the opportunity to work with an Assistant Director of the New York Philharmonic! Chris, we respect your new dream and know you will pursue it with everything you are. We wish you all the luck in the world! Home Free, (including Austin and your newest member), please know you are essentially the "mascot" for all 327 of my current students in Fort Morgan, Colorado. You will always be remembered lovingly by a group of now-twenty-somethings as friends and role models...as men who have remained true to their humble beginnings and loyal to their pre-Sing-Off fans. Best wishes and love to you all! Jennifer Stream

Jennifer Stream since you’re a music teacher, I was wondering if you can tell me how to sing without my throat hurting? I’ve heard people say, sing with your diaphragm, but I don’t know what that means or how to do it. I know what my diaphragm is and where it’s at, I just don’t know how to sing with it.

Jennifer Stream, that's a beautiful letter you wrote about Home Free. You are a part of their success! Thank you! I started listening Home Free music just last month. Though I've listened to the famous song of Lee Greenwood "God Bless the USA" with the Home Free rendition. It hits all over in our emails. Then last month January this Austin Brown "Unchained Melody" was on my YT feeder, I've watched it like a hundreds of times. So, that was the beginning for me to keep on tuning in to Home Free!

I'd heard about this video, but somehow never came across it until tonight. Bless Tim's tender heart. For that matter, may the entire Home Free group be blessed. Chris and Adam got the group started and through perseverance they've created a group that unapologetically shows their patriotism and their willingness to take on sensitive social issues head on and with such grace. They're more than "just a band" to me and so many others. They kept us entertained and mostly sane throughout the pandemic. They kept their noses to the grindstone and kept finding a way to put out videos and wonderful music. They used their "time off" to do some personal projects on their own channels. And somehow have come out the other side an even stronger, more cohesive group. We Home Fries are truly blessed! ❤

OMG! Tears! Toughest thing in the world to me has always been seeing a man cry!!!!! Oh, BOY! I can't even deal when my husband cries from a movie. Yep, he cries and he's definitely a man. Nearly 30 years together, 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Such a man that after he had paid our mortgage off 2 years early, he went back in debt to purchase the one across the street for my daughter and three children. For her, never to worry about someone taking that security from her. A man. I didn't rediscover Home Free until late last year. I was trying to figure out where Chris was, and who was this "new guy". I got yelled at by Home Fries, that's for sure. I MADE my husband record all of Home Free's performances on the Sing-Off. Last year, I was thinking about that, and decided to LOOK for them. Well, it was easy. They were there all the time. I just hadn't looked for them. So, I never got to "know" Chris. I do hope he is successful in his ventures. Sincerely. Thanx. I appreciate this video immensely. Some people forget that their favorite celebrities are real people. These gentlemen are real people. Thanx, Mindy

Chris - I stumbled across a video on KZbin of Home Free about 6 months ago ago and I am hooked on all your music. I learned that you and Adam are from my son Jason Leimer. My husband David Leimer was senior choir director at East High School following after Dale Lammie. I was wondering if you and/or Adam were in David’s choir. David passed away from colon cancer in 1998 but if he had known of Home Free and the tremendous success of your group he would have been so very proud. Thank you Tim for that beautiful tribute to Chris and Chris I wish you continued success in your new adventures. God bless all of you for filling our lives with your beautiful music.
