I went to college in South Dakota and one of my professors was asking where we were from. When I said that I was from Milwaukee, he said, you sure are. You’re the only people who drop the l from the name of that city. I never realized it until then but we do!

I'm from WI - Yes we do ! We've been invaded by seasonal people that have loaned us certain words that just don't translate well with our mix of German/Scandinavian/ Native/Left over French-Canadian ... we are a mixed bag of Nuts but we are friendly !
