How incredible! The man appears to be the a dancer of Butoh, the emotional depth in his face, his convulsive movements and the white makeup he seems to be wearing are all classic elements of Butoh. Tim's music is a great accompaniment! I'd love to see somebody dance to "Virgins" in that style.

i like how you can see the confusion and anguish in the guys face turn to resignation and then that first synth chord hits you. i play that part over and over.

Love the synth chords in the songs. Really experimental, interesting, weird, and evocative. Good work, Tim.

Tim Hecker has shared the video to 'Black Phase', following the release of new album 'Love Streams' on Friday.

I love how the perpetual ontological superfluousness of the dissonance clashes with the underlying sanctity of atonality. The structuration of rhythmic entropy is like a chunk of borax lobbed at a stray jack russell.

I'm a long time fan of Tim & Eric, but this is the first time I've seen Tim Heidecker's solo work. It's interesting

So it’s been three years since this masterpiece came out, and the one thing that has constantly been on my mind was, where is the intro to this video from?? Is it real?! It damn sure looks like it. I keep coming back to this link to see if someone has “cracked it” but from what I see no one has even brought it up. There is also zero info on the same subject on Google.. If I missed it, can someone enlighten me please? Thanks

I kind of remember in a 2013 interview Tim mentions a video for one of the tracks off Virgins, consisting of a montage from video material taken from the deep web; specifically, footage of a security dog chasing a man in some US-invaded middle east country. It was never released but it tracks with the assumption this footage is authentic and sourced similarly.
