I think Tim is the greatest. IT's not his fault that Ranger sets the prices of things. He just comes up with the technology. He has done a ton of great things for the crafters and artist.

I see all of my craft purchases as investments. I’ve worked with cheap and they don’t hold up like good quality products like Ranger products. If I’m enjoying my crafting time then whatever I spend on goodies is worth it 🌷

"... if you let it dry, your stencil is an embellishment." He is such a great presenter. I like that he is willing to talk about the limitations of a product.

So helpful! Can't wait to try it. Think I might borrow Jennifer McGuire's technique of using her shower stall when she needs to spray something. Still spraying in the box, but can use shower head to wash away any potential product over spray. Love the effect of this product and can't wait to try it with embossing powders.

I was thinking to myself, resist spray? hmm. I know ranger makes a resist stamp pad and "reinker". that I have, but rarely use. I think i'm going ot have to drag it out and play with it again. And of course the distress resist spray is now on my wishlist after watching this. It looks like there is a lot of potential there.

QUESTION? Love your demos and products Tim. Been a fan for years. I still have several bottles of ColorWash sprays. I recently purchased Yupo paper and found that gluing it is a problem. I make and trade artist trading cards and do not want my art separating after I mail it. Do you think the resist spray would make a good primer for gluing yupo? (I might have to scrape away the texture to make it smoother)

Does anyone know if this could also be used as a finishing spray of sorts? Sometimes things don’t turn out the way I like it so I’ve used glitter pens or other means to “better” my cards but even days after, I still get color on my hands... thx in advance!

Have you tried using a Fixativ Spray from the Art Store?
@eikana92744 жыл бұрын
ScrapTimeVideos Thx for the reply! But am only a few months in of building & creating cards w/all kinds of mediums except die cutting so I’m still learning the differences between each medium & not sure what you mean by fixative... 😅 was interested in resist spray for not only clear protective coat but also for the added texture. Thx!
@ScrapTimeVideos4 жыл бұрын
Here is a link to the Krylon Fixativ I sometimes use: www.dickblick.com/products/krylon-workable-matte-fixatif/ The Distress spray will create a layer over your project and should protect the underneath layers. Give it a try.

Interesting product BUT am I the only person who will be super paranoid about their crafting neighbors at crops now? I can just imagine someone going to the floor, buying this and thinking they can spray anywhere....and mean while everyone at the table has ruined items....cells phones etc. Please tell me the warning label on this is HUGE!
