I met Tim at a Voodoo Jam. I think it was 2012. Shortly after his 2nd edit blew up on KZbin. Something like 3 million views in a couple of weeks. He was telling me that he never felt like a contest rider and wanted to find a new direction - something he could excel at. He had no idea how break-through and compelling his "plan B" would be. What's cool is that he didn't set out to change things the way he did. He just legitimately loved the style and found tons and tons of opportunities to use obstacles. So much fertile ground with that style.
