Great content Tim. I look forward to more active shooter training on here. Much needed.

I have participated in multiple "active shooter" trainings. Some were full on active scenarios. Others just videos. This training, I wish I was able to participate in the live training. None of the others went into the depth done here. Absolutely a great eye opening thought provoking training. Thank you. Looking forward to more.

Thanks Tim. My family and I try to keep in mind “Where are the exits? Where do we sit?” We have a “duress” signal. Yet at the same time I wouldn’t claim that we have any real idea. All we have is imagination. On the lighter note, coupling this info with that of Master Ken, one should be unbeatable!

Excellent information very well presented. Many thanks. Would be great to run through same scenarios but without access to firearms - yes, I'm in the UK.

Working it through in my head based on what they said in both videos it comes out much the same. Fellas coming with blades (think London Bridge terrorists) won't have range but they will have intent. So it's the same basic problem and same thinking sequence. Take stock. Then: Can you get out (avoid/evade/escape)? By what route? Can you get cover/concealment? What tools can you use? Take stock again if you've sorted cover and call the Plod. Pretty much the same deal if/when knifemen come through the door. If you have no means of escape you WILL have to do the injuring to non-functional work. The TFT Survival Pack will get you sorted out on how to do that. And the last bit, is to not relax and stop assessing your situation if/when you have put one down and non-functional. No good dealing with one and then his mate comes in and stabs you up while you are thinking its all over and making yourself a cup of tea. ;)

@@johnwilkinson5811 thanks for your thoughts - excellent. Re making the tea - is herb tea ok?
@johnwilkinson58113 жыл бұрын
@@BIGBADBOB150 Yes mate. Once you are safe and there's no more wrong'uns coming you can even have a nice slice of cake or a biscuit with your choice of hot drink. ;)

Is there a bundle that has all your courses also the shooting one and accelerated destruction?

Thank you for the reply, the whole shooting bundle unfortunately doesn’t include the accelerated destruction, extreme close combat shooting and split second shooter... would be great if there was a all courses bundle. Is there going to be a subscription service for tft in the future ? Have a great one.

I hope Tim Larkin brings on a Dept. of Justice official to talk about the criminal liability to both the active shooter and to the shooter's family members who harbor those criminals before the attack. If I recall, the DOJ regularly prosecutes family members of active shooters like wife of the one who shot up the gay bar in Miami. Not to mention the civil liability to the shooter and their families which is not discharged in bankruptcy.

I love how they can speck freely. Big 300 pound Samoan, your wife or husband. Some American would cry fowl and get there feeling hurt because they didn't use the correct pronoun. lol. I learned a bunch on here Tim. Thanks for posting.

Clearing doors and buildings in public with Active Shooter's is interesting info but hardly what the armed citizen would be doing, except for the infinitesimal chance they would need to to save their lives.

Lots of good info here, but my preference would be less talking and get to running these people through some drills. People love these long drawn out q&a sessions and they are a huge waste of time. You aren't going to get it by standing around talking about it.
