There’s an authenticity about Lee Morrison, you can tell he’s got experience because he can quickly and accurately describe things from multiple perspectives, attacker, defender etc etc. He’s articulate and can easily diagnose a myriad of dangerous situations and put things in terms anyone can identify with and understand. I like the guy, he’s genuine and obviously loves what he does.

I strongly recommend Mr. Geoff Thomson, whom Lee Morrison also mentioned during this interview at around 11:05 He’s was an excellent doorman and martial artist that has worked with some of the best and trained with well known guys such as Chuck Norris. He’s an amazing writer as well. I strongly recommend his book “Watch My Back”

I wouldn't call this a conversation as such, but it's very interesting to hear the convergence between Mr Morrison's explanation of his thinking and approaches and the concepts in Tim Larkin's books. Taken on their own the ideas and ways of thinking in 'When Violence is the Answer' and 'How to survive the most critical 5 seconds of your life' are compelling and make a great deal of sense. Hearing that Lee Morrison has pretty much arrived at all the key takeaways independently though his own studied journey with violence is a powerful demonstration of the validity and significance of these concepts. I heard some common themes here, for example: The importance of prevention, significance of anatomy and targets, Intent and mindset, cause and effect state, multiple armed assailants, initiative through offence when there is no other option, surrendering the advantage by playing 'defence'. Thanks Tim (and Lee) this really validates your message.

As a fellow Brit who grew up in Liverpool under the same conditions in the seventies and eighties, its like listening to myself. He's bang on, after years of martial arts training this is exactly how and why I developed my SKS system, same mentality, same approach, same concepts and principles, same articulation just some different SKS verbiage. I am now based in Los Angeles and what I find difficult here in the USA, is that a lot of people just can't handle the violent truth of what a motivated high intention violent attack will do to you physically, but more importantly mentally. When I teach and just explain this, never mind when I show the the violence of action required to defeat the attacker, many students just don't come back, they can't handle it, choosing to remain in complete denial. What Lee spoke about in regard to immigration and the mindset and values of those immigrant is here now in the USA, it will only get worse, and its contagious, spreading to the natural born citizenry just like it did in the UK. It has NOTHING to do with skin color, its cultural upbringing and values on human life, just research and watch on some extreme sites some of the atrocities being committed by laughing maniacal killers south of the US border, its medieval. And don't kid yourselves if you think the US government isn't watching the same sick horror shows online, and yet this present administration is encouraging it, like Lee eluded to, its all by design. People need to wake up if they want to protect themselves, their children and this society.

Hello Sir, Please consider inviting mr. Geoff Thomson on your show. - I strongly recommend his amazing book “Watch My Back” (I believe he’s written more than 30 books). He’s a renowned martial artist that has worked with Chuck Norris - just to name one, he’s a former long time doorman and a gifted award winning writer and speaker. He even made a movie and wrote several plays. Mr. Morrison actually mentioned him during this interview at around 11:05 because of Geoffs reality focused training called “Animal Day” if I recall it correctly. Thanks for an awesome show!

I found Lee Morrison on KZbin already. I'm inspired by.the new approach to self defense/civilian combat instruction I'm seeing, here. There's other guys like Master Wong I enjoy watching, in case you get a chance to connect with him too. I've been through a few forms of martial arts, but have yet to see a program specifically for dealing with real violence. So, I've been contemplating what a person really needs to train right without having to be a 'martial artist'. I appreciate all the insight!

Great content to be sure. I would really like to get more on the development & training to be able to switch on the kind of violent mindset U all speak off that's necessary, when it is:) As a non criminal, its difficult to cultivate that to the level required to inflict the kind of damage that's required under such circumstances. When we aren't used to applying it.

I've been 57 years without having to get into a social fight. "KNOW YOUR LINE AND WHAT YOU'LL STAND AGAINST" Advice I got from my uncle from Brooklyn. Has served me well all these years. Best avoidance situation was maneuvering around my car trying to avoid a fight with my best friends drunk friend over me telling his booty call (an ex-gf of mine,) where he had been on a particular day. Getting in my face, "go ahead and swing at me," pounded a dent in the hood of my car. None got to the level of me wanting to hit him, girl wasn't worth it, car wasn't worth it, his verbal insults weren't worth it. Was waiting on him to swing and doing my best to not appear aggressive.

Mr Morrison is indeed interesting. His high energy style doesn't suit everyone, but he's still very much worth paying attention to. Regarding the actions of European governments and the increase in danger as a result of migration that Mr Morrison touched on. Yes. But the source of it was 'well meaning stupidity' rather than malice to domestic populations. You might also think of it as the result of a disconnect with what everyone used to know and take for granted. Important things no longer being taught. In your everyday life you probably take for granted that you pay attention to what the people around you have in their heads and how they behave and you adjust accordingly. The migration and crime problem is largely one of state failure to pay attention to and evaluate what migrants have in their heads. Perhaps the best example of this is the failure of the UK government to assess and evaluate what the parents of Salman Abedi, the Manchester Arena bomber, had in their heads when they gave them leave to remain in the UK after they travelled from Libya. The parents were Libyan Islamists who turned out a son who thought blowing up little girls at an Ariana Grande concert was the thing to be doing. Not rocket science is it? The parents never should have been allowed to remain in the UK because they were themselves a danger to UK safety. If it is not already obvious, the migration problem is one of politicians getting caught up in thinking about racism and not keeping a firm handle on security. It's what is in people's heads that matters, not their skin colour. Racism is indeed a form of idiocy, but failing to carry out the first duty of the state is worse.

He didn't even talk about the causes or political motivations behind mass third worlder immigration into Europe. He just talked about the reality of the violence that they are causing. It amazes me how hard you genetics-deniers try to prybar your adamant dismissal of human evolution into every possible discussion, so you can start rambling about anecdotes and making baseless conjecture about socio-economic causes for violent criminality. You are making excuses for violent savages and trying to divert blame. You are a cultist.
