Nice review. I did notice however that the Tight End didn’t go in a pass pattern on any of the plays. He blocked only. That’s not Iowa football so something has to give.

They did use the TE's early on in his time at Western Michigan, so I almost wonder if the talent wasn't there.

The problem is and has been is we run a "Pro Offense". The problem is college does not have in-helmet communications. At Iowa, we don't have "check with me" calls where the coaches make the adjustment calls or audibles. These QBs are given a ton of responsibility to make the calls from the set and adjust instead of the coaching staff.

I think we will see a change over the next year in how our offense is ran.

Cade’s totally able to handle that sort of responsibility in my eyes, shouldn’t be a problem even with that being the case.

I do see this being a major part of our offense. If you check my last video Lester loves to use his TEs, but this game he hardly used them for some reason.

If you look at the incoming QBs Resar and Sullivan can move well which makes me think this was in the works for awhile.
