What Tim said was right... the culture around football was great back in the day, I used to watch Soccer Am before getting ready to go to Griffin Park for a 3pm kick off, now its just a product for consumers, a soulless transactional affair .

You haven’t been to Stamford bridge if you believe that - I’ve been to plenty of soulless clubs , the best example being man United - no one there lives in Manchester!

@@adamwynyard4065 I go home & away and have followed my team from League 2 all the way to the Premier league.. and the Premier league is looking to replace supporters with customers (Ticket prices at Villa, Spurs & West Ham recently).. it wants the day-trippers & tourists.. which sadly impacts the atmosphere at games.

Soccer AM was absolutely awesome back in the day, was absolutely gutted when Tim and Helen left and I never watched it since. Imagine them doing the catwalk today with the soccerett? Be banned for life nowadays 😂😂

i used to see soccer am when i was on a comedown from Whatever Rave or sound system i was at the night before , depending on where i was crashing because not everyone had sky. Good memories though.Good times man ✊

My first ever rave was a small rave way up the road ."phobia" at Carlisle sands centre .DJ sy bass generator sykick bassheads grooverider and Dave angel were all on that night . It was canny good.after that rave I went to an after party and then home where I was living with my parents,as it was 1992 and I was only 16 yo but them days were way before I had seen or heard of soccer Am . we didn't have sky TV at my family home . My friend Spence did have sky TV and I used to go to his mam's house to watch the Simpsons...Good times man .what were you up to in 1992 Clive

The soccerettes were great. My favourite moment was when TL missed a penalty - and 'lovejoyed' it over the bar - 20 years later, we still describe a penalty miss as 'he lovejoyed it'.

Id say most successful clubs are, have you ever seen the fans at Bayern when they score a goal? Real Madrid barely fill their ground when it's not a big game, Old Trafford is full of foreigners and Anfield is as quiet as a funeral except for 1 song before kick off and big games
