During a Tim Mcgraw concert on June 19, 2010 ,Southern Voice. Tour with Lady Antebellum my 🆕now husband proposed! After announcing our engagement the next morning to my mom and dad! 2 Months later my mother passed away! She was undoubtedly happy hearing the news, and was at peace with herself! She knew I was happy and he was the one! I had finally found my soulmate and walked down the aisle at 51 years old! My dad flew to Iowa from Florida and walked me down the aisle! Bless his heart, he was 75 years young! "Not a moment to soon was our wedding song! Daddy's little girl was my father-daughter dance! Whenever I see Tim and Faith sing together, I see a happily married couple still madly in love with each other! Looking forward to going to another concert with the two of them together! They make beautiful music together! Keep the soul to soul tour alive! It's working for them! At 50, they look fantastic and so sexy together! They keep the spark going in our marriage! I've never been happier and still in love!

About 35 years ago when Tim McGraw went by the name of Sam Smith, I was headed north toward my job. As I pulled on the freeway, I saw this guy trying to catch a ride. He only wanted to go about 10 miles north, but his actual destination was about 250 maybe 300 miles to Memphis, Tennessee. He said that he was going to an audition to become a singer and front the band. Now, I don't know if he got the job with that band or not. But I would like to believe he did and that is the same band he is with today. But as we drove and talked and got a feel of each other he started taking notes and began writing the song Humble and Kind based loosely on many of the things I said to him. Like the name of that song, when I offered to drive him all the way to Memphis, he asked me why would i do that? I told him, my momma and daddy taught me to always be humble and kind and help someone get where they are going, especially if the helping was for a Nobel or godly cause. Being a dreamer of song writing myself, i decided he was worth losing my job over. So I gave him a ride. Thing is, along the way I gave him the advice to pay your dues and play the blues, and to bend them guitar strings. And then I was gonna say, and remember it's a long way to the top of you wanna rock n roll - AC/DC. He said, yeah I know the song, if you're big star bound let me warn you, it's a long hard ride. Now, I had never heard that song. And when I told Tim that, I could tell he didn't know if was lying or not. But he told me he intended to sing it during his concerts. What I can say is there was definitely something strange about that ride because when I dropped him off on the off ramp in Memphis, he said mister many thanks and tapped my passenger door shut. I said, you don't have to call me mister, mister. The whole world calls me Hank. He said what? I said, you know... that song. I offered him if he needed some cash for a bite to eat. He said, that's ok I got it covered. That's how I know Tim remembers me every time he sings that song. Thing is, that ride was a little strange and I had never heard that song and we did listen to Hank along the way. I believe Hank Williams was there in spirit in that car to give Tim his blessing. Maybe Jesus as well. 25 years later I saw him in concert, me with my girl friend in Salt Lake City but did not recognize he was the same guy. Another ten years down the road I was singing along with Tim in my room and Truck Yeah came on. While giving him THE RIDE, he sang part of Truck Yeah. I finally remembered the ride I had given to that guy. God blesses us with out warning. God bless Tim McGraw. Before I drove on back to my parents home that evening, I stopped on the other side of the freeway and prayed for Tims success even if I failed. I asked the Lord to see him through and if Tim didn't quite have it to lend him the talent He had blessed me with and I believe He did but did so long before Tim ever met me. So if you ever meet Tim, please tell him Hank said you're welcome and thank you. My song writing has become way better since that ride. Ttyl. And may the Lord bless you and keep you as well.
