You can brute force your way into GM, as you get more points when you win than when you lose, so with enough games AND the fact this game has EOMM, you are guaranteed to reach GM if you play enough and are half decent at the game. Will there be ppl stuck at gold? Ofcourse, but those are just the spiderman mains(i hate spiderman users hence using them as a example) who go 5-15 in the first half and say gg no heals and then go widow second half

Also, I’d like to imagine that he could make it to top500 in OW1, considering he IS a tank player at heart, meaning if he’s able to make it to top500 solo tanking in OW2 (bless his soul), then he could definitely do so in OW1 soloq. Valorant I can praise, because you need positioning with that too, but the fact that that game doesn’t have any respawns and you just need so many points before gaining a quick win (and yes, emphasis on quick), it’s just hard for me to still say he’s better than Tim when, at the end of the day, his positioning and game awareness sucks major fucking ass. Also, other pro MR players also “barely started playing”, and they still did way better than Ninja in just about every aspect

The hardest part of solo queuing to celestial is getting out of bronze and silver. I have never in my life witnessed a group of people who are this bad a video game and lack basic common sense. When I was in bronze and silver I would regularly go like 50-2 and we would still lose because my teammates want to go Jeff and rocket meanwhile their team has Luna and Cloak. My teammates want to push all the way up to their spawn the moment we win a team fight and immediately die. My teammates will be going 5-16 and refuse to switch even when you ask them politely. Once I got to gold I hit celestial in the same amount of time it took me to get out of silver.

I have a friend that got GM after 150 hours on the game, the ranked system is bad rn. Solo Queuing all the way there is admirable though! Just gotta deduct points for hours played for most people. So heard about this free marvel rivals game and it blew my mind tbh , I’m 37 lol , so more than likely I don’t have the reflexes I once did as a young man , so I increased the sensitivity and I’ve been keeping up better , But this game if your used to fps , is a learning curve , placement , map knowledge , hero knowledge . Not being able to crouch duck slide away . Using abilities to do such things , knowing when to use and when to keep your ultimates . All that takes times , man I have like 200hrs … and have so much to still learn and improve 😂😂😂 So probably a lot of players like me out there , making it easier for players like you that know this kind of game well , understand the mechanics , and thrive . A lot of these players I can probably beat on a battlefield map tbh , especially BF1 or BF4 … BF5 too but yea , I was a monster in bf1 and 4 lol

All the numbers for this game get blown way out of proportion because it's so casually played by people who arent typically considered a gamer. People have to realize 50% if not higher of the community is casual gamers who play once maybe twice a week. But if you no life the game and play constantly for 8 hours a day for 3 days straight no it's not impressive you made it to GM. You lose half the points on a loss than you earn for a win and every 3 losses is just blocked by the shield. Even with a 50% win percentage you're guaranteed to eventually make it to the top rank it's not an argument it's math and that's just how they set up the ranks to cater to a more casual fan base.

Tim is boosted, without a doubt, but he's still better than average. You can literally get GM with less than 50% WR. He played 3 days nonstop so it only makes sense. Granted i expected him to struggle more but GM3 is no difficult feat. Anyone that can play the game on an avg level can get GM just by grinding. Climbing GM is a bit difficult and if Tim can get Celestial grinding solo, then ill give him some actual props. I was able to grind to GM playing melee DPS, which i never played, with a 70% WR and its not because im good, its because people are boosted to hell because of the ranking system. Climbing to GM in overwatch is way more difficult. Getting GM3 in rivals is like getting D3 in OW and OW2, before all the ranks got boosted.

I only ever solo que to diamond or masters in apex cuz we are adults so not all of us have free time to play . The only time my friends were free to que up together into ranked we made it from silver to diamond in 1 day . We were having fun reminiscing about our times in bo1-2 days and just unexpectedly made it to diamond. Old age and responsibilities man , it is what it is

Yes there is , just run into action after they die , not realizing the whole team also died , so you regroup and go back together . I’ve been watching a lot of streamers to learn . I’m still hard stuck at silver lol but I’m improving , and the teammates I play with don’t watch videos (when I do play with buddies) so it’s hard with them too , we did go on a 9 win streak to get to silver which was nice , started going up in silver won one but the skin of our teeth , then hard lost two in a row , in embarrassing fashion , one match no one had kills , we stopped playing after that .., complete joke lol

People who say “getting GM is easy” don’t know simple math. As far as we know Marval rivals has 20m+ players play It, now lets just say only 50% make It to the comp level. Thats still 10m players, now if GM is the top 2% of the game that means ONLY 200k people in the WHOLE world are GM level. Even if you say 20m or 30m player count thats still only 400k and 600k collectively make It to that level, in the grand scheme of people playing It is extremely hard to hit the top 2%. Especially by yourself in a TEAM based game.
