Blackbeard's shield back in the day had 1 single 800 HP shield. Yes 800 and just 1 of them! So he was basically unkillable to the head when he had a shield up. Then they nerfed his shield to 150 HP and he got an extra shield, he was still busted. So he got a bunch of speed nerfs alongside his shield's health getting reduced to 60, to then 50, to the today's 20 HP making him the worst attacker with the worst gun in the game.
