For those who want to know what Collards are a type of cabbage with large, dark green leaves and tough stems. They are a member of the Brassica oleracea species, which also includes broccoli and cabbage. Collard greens are closely related to kale and mustard greens and are prepared in similar ways. So that’s what collard greens are.

8:26 Collard greens are great for your health, but equally awesome is their flavor! Unlike kale and spinach, these don’t have such an extreme bitter taste. Instead, they taste more neutral. Southern greens is just the actual plant and other spices
