This commercial for Folgers featured the Tim Richmond team at an early morning test at Charlotte. TG Sheppard partnered with Folgers to enter NASCAR racing and he sings the Folgers theme in this commercial

Harry Hyde once caught me sneaking into the pits at Talladega and didn't rat me out. Years later as a teenager I met him at a promotional event at the Talladega motorsports hall of fame and he remembered letting me go. Absolutely a humble genuine man. But back in the 80s most all of them were. Today's drivers are petty divas and a disgrace to the crew chiefs and drivers who built this sport.
