Love hearing Tim talk on the mic. Very humble and always showing his appreciation for every one around him, and those that helped him get to where he was in racing.

It’s pretty incredible how he’s not mentioned in NASCAR that much nowadays. He was an incredible, incredible racer

Tim Richmond was one hell of a race driver & one hell of a character! He should be in the nascar hall of fame

Nascar won't eat all the shame they put Tim through in 1988. Falsely messing with his drug test and making him sit out of the 1988 Busch Clash. I think some of that also had to do with a few drivers that didn't like Tim success at all.

Tim Richmond had more car control than any other driver in NASCAR history, imo.Curtis Turner was another driver with great car control and could drive a loose car way beyond its limits.

Dale Earnhardt had the same talent if not more, equal respect to both, a special time in NASCAR no doubt

If Tim Richmond would've lived & been around longer; Earnhardt would've never won 7 championships. Shelmerdine, Petree, & LaRosa have all strongly agreed that off record of course..

Tim Richmond was a cool guy - it was Indy racing's loss and NASCAR's gain when he switched.

What he could’ve did in Rick Hendrick’s car in 87-90 could’ve been unreal...

Yeah, he would have made the #25 the iconic number instead of the #24. I doubt that even Rick would have pursued Jeff Gordon had Tim been there, but I still believe he would have still discovered Jeff. Rick has an eye for talent.
