As a current teenager, I admire your work ethic. I use to always think operators got in the machine, dug a hole and left. Out of curiosity, ever considered modifying a conveyor belt to have mats under it, and a grab handle so that you could move it around with the excavator ? Might give you a better range ? Less time moving mats around down in the hole, could mean more productive time.
