"Here's your permit, you're gonna need a silt fence" "The project,... is digging silt,.. from the lake" "Yes sir, make sure you have a silt fence in place to keep any dirt from entering the waterway" "I'm digging the dirt, from the waterway" "Yes, you need a silt fence because it's a waterway" "The dirt, that could end up in the lake, is from the lake, which I'll dig out anyway" "Yes sir, you still need the fence"

Man Chris, watching you has taught me so much. I may be only 17 but I do construction a lot and am on many machines (something I enjoy doing). And watching you gives me some good laughs and I get to see how a true professional does it. Take care over the holidays and stay safe.

As a current teenager, I admire your work ethic. I use to always think operators got in the machine, dug a hole and left. Although There are probably quite a few who do that you bring in the whole other side of the story. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos every day. Thanks -----------------I have a pond that needs dug, want the job, you just have to truck the 220 to Indiana haha

Out of curiosity, ever considered modifying a conveyor belt to have mats under it, and a grab handle so that you could move it around with the excavator ? Might give you a better range ? Less time moving mats around down in the hole, could mean more productive time.
