Tszyu is more disciplined and has a better team than Teofimo. Teofimo struggles mentally, has personal problems, and a toxic father/coach who's corner advice was: "be patient...wtf are you doin' knock him out already!!" Tim is not taking the easy opponents...Harrison, Ocampo and Mendoza were merely secondary opponents chosen in order to keep busy and gain more experience whilst he waited on Jermell Charlo to get his act together and get in the ring. Tim has never knocked back an opponent because of a fear he'd get beaten. The title that Tszyu currently holds is not being withheld by Tim, and this fight against Keith Thurman isn't sanctioned simply because the WBO doesn't see him as a worthy opponent...not to fight for Tim's title right now anyway Tim would put his title on the line for every fight because ironically, the belts is not the number one motivation in his boxing career...it's the respect he wants to earn along the way and he knows that the more opponents he has to overcome, the bigger the name he will become...he has already said in previous interviews that he will work hard to prove that he is worthy of his fans and ultimately his name, which by the time he retires won't be known as just Kostya Tszyus's son but known world wide as Tim Tszyu, based on and judged by his boxing career
