Awesome playing Tim! You sold me on the Ibanez SR Iron label with your video a few years back, used it a alot! I have the Iron Label BTB but I'm interested in the extra extended range. Always looking for that bigger wall of doom bass tone. Currently using a Yamaha bb735a and surprisingly it bangs for a "34 scale! The search constantly evolves!

One thing that surprised me was picking up one of Tim's picks and realizing it was fairly thin... .83(ish) maybe. I just figured that his attack was partly due to the pick, but, I was wrong. Great sound.

@@stemcellphone my absolute favorite pick for metal bass is a standard Tortex .73 (yellow). There’s still HEAPS of attack with those but it’s flexible enough to not make the string have a huge pitch excursion and ultimately keeping things intonated/in tune better TLDR: Thinner picks = Autotune for bass
