Saw Stepson a bunch of times at the Whisky, including gigs with Uriah Heep. Mick Box, Heep guitarist, was excited that they got to jam with Stepson because Heep were big fans of Touch, the proto-prog band of the late 60s that Stepson evolved from. I found it hard to grasp that Touch and Stepson were essentially the same lineup--they were musical polar opposites.

Roberto S You sir are definitely on point with that statement. This album deserves to be aligned with and venerated along with the rest of elite albums that are known as classic albums and what a downright travesty that this true MAGNUM OPUS did not catch on with the greater listening audience, I could easily hear a number of these songs being played on the radio back when the album was released and dare I say a few of the songs becoming hits !
