My first reaction on Nuxt 3 is "Look how they massacred my boy!". But this video makes me happy again. Nuxt has become more powerful tool! Thanks Tim!

It’s actually a very nice improvement on Nuxt 2. Now it’s time to get it super stable.

This is very interesting. I was overwhelmed at first with the many changes of nuxt3 but the more I try it, the more I like it. The Meta tag is great!!

It seems to work surprisingly well. Just like vue 3 and its composition api.

i will be looking out for some nuxt 3 info. i was worried for a long time that nuxt would end up like gridsome :( glad to see it pulled through. thankfully my next project is an SPA so i dont need things like sitemap etc. im guessing that those next 2 plugins are all dead now?

I don't understand why in SSR mode this data is serialised. Shouldn't it just make API call to backend from server to server and make hydration on the client side?

They are getting very close now. I have done a few live projects with it and it works well enough.

Is nuxt ready for production sites yet?
@timbenniks2 жыл бұрын
Not really. Nuxt 3 needs a bit more love to be able to do static site generation for example. Also, lots of modules don’t work with it yet due to the native ESM imports.
@paterfamilias012 жыл бұрын
@@timbenniks I thought so. I would like to use meta frameworks like nuxt or even sveltekit for my websites (mostly static) but neither are ready for production ready sites. Idk what to do lol

@@timbenniks I recently started learning vue about 3 months ago so I currently only know vue 3. Nuxt 3 is built one vue 3 which is why I haven’t looked into nuxt. Maybe I should look into it anyway

@@timbenniks i learned vue in 6 hours by embedding it raw to html and found the most weird webpack to create compiled code. Am now at the last station VITE but see new solutions all the time. Nuxt seems to be a great way to go
