The mini truck took a good load of wood in this one. Kenny

Would love to fabricate some bed sides for the mini truck, but I'm afraid I'd overload and break the springs 😂 Always good to hear from you!

@@FoxfireProjects If you're ever in the market for an upgrade, there are slightly bigger and stronger versions of these trucks such as the Toyota HiAce truck.

@@noseboop4354 Love those trucks. Have a buddy with a Lite Ace van and it's great, just a bit too big to make it in the woods where I run the mini. Thanks so much for watching!

Greetings from the land of the Maple Leaf. Your splitter is amazing, a well designed piece of machinery. It is always a joy to see you work, the efficiency gained through your forethought and planning is always evident. You accomplished much in half an hour of splitting! It is great to see your mini truck, what an amazing piece of gear! I am sure a cold drink and a little shade felt great after unloading the truck. All the best!

Thanks Paul! Definitely enjoyed some shade (and AC) after a morning in the heat. Always great to have you watching!

Thank you for showing us a morning's work. The images in the morning mist are beautiful and soothing. Hot but refreshing, summer mornings are nice.

I just picked up a 6x12 galvanized dump trailer this afternoon for delivering maple firewood.

That's a nice addition! Have been wanting to add a dump trailer to the fleet for a while, but prices in my area have gone crazy. Thanks for watching!

Shooting in too the sun makes for a poor vid more often than not. How old is that splitter ? Glad you showed it to us. Looking forward to the next production.

Agreed, wasn't happy with some of the shots, but with the heat this time of year, I try to get chores done early while the sun is still low. I believe the TW6 is an '08 model. Always glad to have you watching!

I still have a few little poplars to take down that are way to close to the house. But I like the shade!

Shade is definitely a good thing. Takes so long to grow a tree, I always think long and hard before removal, no matter the species. Always great hearing from you!

Love that little truck! Do you mix the Poplar with other wood, burn it in your own stove, bundled, or sold by itself?
@FoxfireProjects Жыл бұрын
It’s a fun little work horse! We mix the poplar in with our campfire wood, but mainly burn it in the shop stove for winter heat. Grows like weeds here but not much interest in it to sell. Appreciate you watching!

i was considerering timberwolf 10 yrs ago when buing a splitter. my main concern was its just so short, im only 6ft but seemed tiny height wise. though ive never used. due they bother your back?
@FoxfireProjects Жыл бұрын
You can definitely feel it after bending over all day. When using for long periods, we sometimes put a few splits under the tires and jacks. Gives it just enough lift to make a difference. Appreciate you watching!
