From what I heard, Jeremy Soule began taking university composition lessons from a very early age, and had learned the equivalency of a Master's in composition by the time he graduated high-school. I'm not sure if he ever saw a need to go to a formal school and earn a formal degree or doctorate after that.

@Mugetsui Jeremy Soul has done music on films but also games. The guy is one of the most fantastic music composers I have heard. He did Guild Wars 1 music and is currently working on Guild Wars 2 music. You should really check out the music it is incredible. Introduces everything outstandingly well. He really knows how to give character to something with his music.

This is amazing, Jeremy is such an inspiration to me. Can anyone tell me what is this, because i don't know if it's from a game or something by itself. I'm trying to find as many works of his as possible. I don't know if he composes just for games or does something else in the meantime. If you know please answer me ^^

@johnnyrye jeremy soule is absolutely incredible when he's on, but sometimes he does put out duds like Prey's soundtrack. more often than not though, he blows the soundtrack out of the water.
