In 2018, I purchased a Parker Commuter Backpack which I found great for everyday college use as well as for travelling. However, a month after buying it, the bag was stolen along with all my valuables while I was asleep on a train from Brussels to Amsterdam. Although losing my MacBook, passport, Hard Rock t-shirts, and tech stuffs was painful, I was able to recover from it quickly. However, losing my Parker backpack left me feeling like there’s a hole in me. So, on my birthday today, I decided to buy the same backpack again, even though there are many newer models available from other brands. I followed my heart and chose to get back my Parker backpack.

I actually really like that they allow you to Velcro off the laptop compartment. It gives you the option to completely separate the main compartment from your laptop (my preference) while also giving people the flexibility to stow the flap away to access their computer from the top as well as the side.

6:50 Another reason its made top heavy than bottom heavy is for bike rides. Bottom heavy pulls the rider back a little when sitting straight while pedaling. Top heavy likely helps to keep the weight in the center more or less close to the shoulders.

Could a 32 oz aluminium bottle fit ok in the side pockets or would it stretch it out too much?

Great video. I know this isn't a new review but I am trying to figure out if the 4 empty loops on the front of the bag are designed for something specific. I assumed there would be accessory straps to strap something like a jacket to the outside but I'm not able to find anything. Do you all know what they are included for?

Not sure if this is it, but sometimes it's to give something to grab onto while opening the zipper.

I hate the lack of any organization. I had to pull the pencil organizers from my OG Timbuk2 messenger and just slip them in the pockets.
