A song so close to my heart. My mother sang this to me as I napped on her lap as a child. She sang it so beautifully and no one has ever come close to the way my mother sang it. Until I heard the UP Mads sing my mother's song. Thank you, UP Mads--you give me a moment to be that child on my mother's lap each and every time I listen to this. A precious moment because she died when I was 6. Merci, mes amis

Kasi hindi naman talaga original na Pilipino song ito. 'Yung "L'important c'est la rose" ay nirecord noong 1968 ni Gilbert Becaud (13 years old pa lang noon si Kuh Ledesma), 'yung "Bulaklak" naman ay noong 1980 pa lang nirecord ni Kuh ;)
