I've had several opportunities to visit the redwoods at Henry Cowell State Park. It was an awesome experience.

Blair have you read a book called The Ghost Forest by Greg King? It is by far the most comprehensive look at how the mighty Redwoods were ravaged by greed and corruption. It is so profoundly disturbing I am only reading a few pages here and there. Will take me months to get through it but man, oh man, it tells the entire story. You very well may have already found it, if you have would love to hear your thoughts, if you haven’t I highly recommend it. Thanks for all you provide to the tree loving community. Jon in Bolinas. Ps Glad you are in the mend.

Hey Blair, have you visited the Grove of Titans in northern california close to Crescent City? There is also a Tree called the Del Norte Titan, not easy to find, but you can find some maps on the net on how the find the tree. These are some of the largest Sequoia Sempervirens left. I was there in 2019, it's very impressive.

Drove through but not spent time in that grove. Worth a visit for sure.

@@arboristBlairGlenn And I certainly appreciate you! Even though I'm just a 77 year old lady with a chainsaw, you've instructed me and helped keep me safe! I told you Helene took down at least two dozen trees. Your instructions on how and what to cut have helped me greatly. It's also told me when to walk away from a downed tree and get help, since it looks like it would like to roll on me. I hope you have a prosperous 2025 and keep on climbing!

Don't believe thw hype Blair if you do the smallest amount of diligence on these med-injectiins ( the fact that I have to self sensor words should tell you everything you need to know) & you'll find them to be premeditated & nefarious. Hope you and yours have a happy, healthy and prosperous new year 🎄🎊🎉
