Only thing differing from the original i think is the volume she is putting out is a bit more even and relaxed than the original where it was much more variable and forced up where lyrics needed emphasis

It looks like one of those gigs where the pub brings a band in to entertain customers but the band fills the room and outnumbers the customers. This is a FAB rendition and they have to be congratulated for not making the mistake of many bands who amp the instruments and drown out the singer.

This song was excellently written and performed by Jefferson Airplane. But this rendition was tremendous and it brings thoughts of so many things done in years gone by.. But what was truly interesting is seeing no emotions from others in the hand for such an emotional song

This looks like it was shot on a 16 mm Bell and Howell home movie camera from the late 50's or early 60's. Obviously taken on the set of A Complete Unknown. The graininess of the film and muted colors make give it the appearance of a relic. Pretty impressive.

Not bad, actually a very good Grace Slick impression. This song is short and comes right at you, there are no instrumental bridge sections, which other bands try to add in their versions, the punch-charm is that the vocals build all the way through the song, no breaks. It takes a really good vocalist to both imitate Grace's voice style and sing it without more than a breath in between lines.

Tons of credit for the randomness of this video. Just chilling in a restaurant with the food in the screen and the musicians are just killing it. And not an easy song to cover either, it can be easily screwed up. Funny to see the other two vocalists hanging out for emotional support or not sure what exactly they were doing. At first I thought they would come in at the end, but nope, they are there for decoration I guess. Nice work, enjoyed it, thanks!

The vocal track might be mimed, however it could have been resung.. OR picked on multitrack recorder with the mic she's wearing and then post processed to get the professional sounding dynamics, eq, ambience, etc.. (it makes the video look a bit disconnected from the audio)I personally try to record all live performances my band does and i know out of experience that this sounds somewhat like it was captured as multitrack on site, but mixed with professional gear later..but still somehow very flawless performance..that may indicate it being resung.. but yes..sometimes all the moons and stars align also on live takes and you can get 'flawless' take.. It's most likely not mimed since it's very hard to keep the timing in this type of gig setting with all of the musicians..and certainly not hearing a click track for players (don't see also in-ear monitors with anyone..)

Now that's my kinda living room! At first I thought the singer was lip-syncing bcs it started off sounding just like the Grace of Slick, but then she obviously wasn't, just doing a cool rendition-and then the organ came in, perfectly nailing things.
