Select all the correct answers. The output of a first order system is y(t) = e^-4t The time constant of the system is 4 sec. The time constant of the system is 0.368 sec. ✔After two time constant the output of the system would have decayed to 13.53% of its initial value. ✔The time constant of the system is 0.25 sec. ☐ After two time constants the output would have decayed by 13.53%.

For time constant of a Transfer function then it must be either - G(S)H(S)= 25(s+1)/(S+5) or closed loop TF. What kind of Transfer function is G(S)????. it is just a gain right. then how r u defining for time constant of a transfer transfer function. it must be either closed loop or open loop. G(S) is neither closed loop TF or open loop TF. then defining G(S) as a TF is not valid. unless feed back is 1.? please correct me if i am wrong

In the second example in miunut 6. What happened to the u(t), I equals 1/s, why you did not include it in the expression ??

Hello, can you explain what the time constant and gain is for the following transfer function. G(s) = 1.241/s+1.45 Am I right in thinking, standard form is : 1.241/1.45(s.(1/1.45)+1) Time constant = 1/1.145 = 0.69 seconds Gain = 1.241 or 1.08 Thanks

In 4:35 you took 2 as common, and in 6:30 you divided the denominator by 50. In this case what the value of k will not change??. So what is the correct thing to do, taking the common of the denominator, or divide the denominator to get the number 1 ??

Also sir, could you please upload an entire syllabus worth of videos in two days? I put off studying and now my exam is tomorrow, and I'm waiting so please hurry up.
