So good to see these again. One of the most under-rated comedy shows on TV.

£81.45 for 45 pints of lager? That's £1.81 per pint! Damn, if only it was still that cheap.....

That reminds me when I was in the furthest North pub in Europe on North Cape. Norway is very expensive especially when it comes to alcohol. And there was a pricelist with super cheap drinks! I mean European prices! Yeah, but in Norwegian it said that it was menu from when the pub was opened in early XX century...

I remember when beer went through the £1 a pint "barrier". It then didn't take long to go to £2, then £3 and £4. Look at a few other items over the same period. The price of beer has far outstripped almost everything else.

@BadgerOff324 жыл бұрын
I just read this comment and got curious, so I went off and Googled him, and yeah. He really has disappeared hasn't he! His IMDB page says he did one other show after TGP in 2003, and then nothing in the 17 years since! Al Murray even tried getting hold of him on Twitter 10 years ago but to no avail. Really strange. I always thought he'd go on to bigger things too! (Edit) Also, Jason Freeman was his stage name. His real name was..........Steven Crosby. His name in the show was his literal real name. Weird!

what's funny is in real life he's a posh toff/champagne socialist, he's basically just mocking the working classes like bigoted liberal arts types do. but i still watch him, he's undeniably funny even though he's very mean-spirited and not a very nice person IRL.
@captainswoop87224 жыл бұрын
No not the 'working classes' he's mocking the gammony, brexit loving, little englander bigots.
