After building two recording/video studios, the first 44 feet square with half having a second story and for my retirement a 24 foot square one story studio/video facility in NC where I retired to the mts., and renovating two pre-WW2 houses largely by myself, I learned one thing. Don't think about the entirety, just think about the next "nail" you need to drive. After all, there is great joy in the "climb". Lots of little victories and much satisfaction after each stage is complete (as you know by now). You two have just hit the ball out of the park. Enjoy it because time travels faster than you can imagine. I find myself here at 77 and I too wonder how I got here lol! You will be Grandpa and Grandma before you know it. But, you'll love that too!!

I have help start several businesses but none of the owners were as incredible as your family. I so look forward to every project video with the beautiful landscape and animals. It is so relaxing… I make sure to like and share to do a tiny thing to support you. My friends think I’ve gone crazy following off-grid homesteaders until they watch… BTW, I lived in California for 20 years, had professionally installed solar panels on our roof to heat our pool. The biggest side benefit was that we never needed air conditioning because it also cooled the house… I replaced the wood frames with custom aluminum grid… used the original solar panels from the 1980’s … also considered swapping them for upgraded units to sell power back to the City. Many public low income housing units were being retrofitted with solar… so genius!
