I LOVE time-lapse. I think this is a great example of how much time it takes to set up a great lighting show. My guess is that about 75% of the time was dedicated to just lighting. I hear people saying that we do big light shows more for ourselves than our clients, but look at the impact this set-up has on the overall coolness of the room. Well worth the effort!! I bet the client was blown away by how AWESOME this looked. GREAT JOB!!!

You take a lot of pride in what you do. The average person have no clue how much work it is to set up a show. Keep up the good work.

I usually do all my sound and electronic hookups before i setup my lights. but I can see why you guys do lights first. I don't have as many lights as you guys do.

Nice show how long did it take for the 3 of you to of load from fan and set up plus take down at end of function, how did the function go, as a pro DJ in UK I am more interested in the music and how many of your guests are up dancing than how many light djs have. Good dvd though

I hate the word over kill. The real problem is too many DJs want 2k for a show and show up with a Radio Shack setup. Thank you for putting in the effort to raise the bar. Most high end hotels hate us but they are also sticks in mud types anyway and they are not the ones we are trying to please. All they care about is how quickly we can set up & how quickly we can tear down.

true.. true and oh yeah your telling the truth brother.. the D.J. game is so up and down with sooo many unprofessional types who dont deliver the goods in a professional way and so therefore it lowers peoples opinions and expectations.. but i do see some good hard working pro's still exist and i try hard to maintain high standards of professional conduct and quality at my gig's #1 it pays my bills #2 it's integrity #3 it gets me call backs #4 i am representing my name so i want to present myself as a great D.J. and showman and entertainer and M.C. in all facets Lighting.. sound.. appearance.. and taking good care of the paying client... Hotels have seen way too many young High..drunk. poor quality youth who call themselves D.J's but are not really D.J's in any sense of the word.. but those of us who hold down the game with Integrity are still here . :) thats why i'm still on youtube watching and learning . it's like a jedi knight it never ends u can always improve.

Question: Are you ever worried about someone walking off with one of your ADJ WiFly uplights? Do you secure them to the floor any type of way (ie: Gaffers tape)?

Apparently there is no delete comment button, I didn't mean to be so harsh. It is in fact a nice looking system, you're right I don't know the target audience so it was unfair of me to judge the setup. Hope this can at least partly put at ease the tension between us.

@stewardsproductions11 жыл бұрын
You act like I don't know that, a matter of fact I did not really care about it due to the fact I did not want the kids knocking over the speakers. I know a lot about sound. Will Saba if you were to go and watch a lot of my other videos you will see in my larger setup that the subs are placed in the center in front of the DJ. But most of the time I go for more of the look with this setup more than sound. I'm not trying to blow people away with this setup. But please don't insult me again Will.

Does anyone know about how much a school would pay for this kind of setup? It seems rather expensive with all the lighting. Just looking for a ball-park range, nothing specific.
