Nice recovery, I like the abstractness. I learned while watching. I do understand carriage holding skull strength. I have set body aside and built head out of slabs. after drying a bit I was able to meld them into a presentable fashion. Stuffing with newspaper, my only concern is drying time of inside versus outside. as for glaze or paint, and litlle light glaze then paint around it. That was almost as much fun as it is to be the builder. thank you.

I wasn't thrilled with the start, but as Bob Ross always said. There are no mistakes, only happy accidents. I love the piece at the end. Excellent save!

The Happy Potter- I took it out of the kiln and I am still stuck on how I want to glaze and finish it. It took me a long time to complete so I’m thinking hard on what to do haha but I want to get around to it soon!

Rex Fetzer thank you! I planned on finishing this piece but I still have it only bisque fired. I am a ceramics major now at my university so I’m learning more and have thought about a wash or maybe actually putting it out in nature and see how it turns out!

just add any glaze on it, as the statement is organic. Rita
