Very impressive Bro. I've learned a huge amount from watching your videos and this one is great. Loved the time-lapse section and you carefully explaining all the parts and their cost. Can't wait to see this completed. Will you sell it or keep it and ride it? And what's next? At 5'5" myself, your early videos were very helpful and then you convinced me that the Z650 was the way to go instead of the SV or FZ-07. ( I've had two SVs) Later this week I'm picking up my new bike....but it is NOT the Z. I opted for the Ninja instead but never would have considered it had I not "accidentally" ridden it after testing the Z. At my size, the ergos fit me extremely well. Thanks for the efforts, can't wait to see what's next.

It will be ridden for sure! Half the fun is going to be tuning it up using the Bazzaz! Patiently waiting on my fairings... that in itself has been one huge pain in the ass. Injection molded fairings for this year model have not been an easy find. Or should I say... QUALITY injection molded fairings...

That's awesome. Can't wait to see this bike on the road. I have an old 86 Honda Rebel 250 sitting in the garage. My wife wants me to get rid of it because it is just sitting there and the engine is shot. You inspired me and I think I know what I want to do with this bike. Thanks for sharing and keep those videos coming.

Nice job. These are fun when it's a second bike. And for the future, I'm not a locksmith (I just watch 'bosnianbill' on KZbin) but as long as a key will fit into the lock, it's an easy thing to take the lock apart and move the wafers ( or pins) to make it work with a different key. I don't think that that will apply to both of your Kawis. If the keys fit each other's locks however, you could operate both bikes from one key.

Tremonte the series on the ninja is worth an update once every week, Please try and post it like the channel "myselfreliance" does every friday, consistency of uploads would be awesome.

Unfortunately, I'm at point where I'm waiting for parts for the bike. I have had to deal with three different fairing vendors since April, and still waiting. I'm most likely going to make a video about that experience soon. I'm working on editing and getting a Ride and Review of the Smart Turn System I just installed up today. But for the Ninja, I'm at the mercy of vendors right now. :(

Tremonte thats okay,the quality of your videos is awesome if you could make something more educative or tutorial like content don't hesitate,like you did with the raspberry pi I loved it. This might sound a little nosy and it's none of my business but what do u do by the way? U seem very well versed at all this stuff.

I am an industrial electrical contractor that specializes in controls and automation. That's one reason it's difficult for me to make more content than I do. Some weeks I work 7 days, get emergency calls in the middle of the night, etc.

Very well done. I was wondering if you can tell me is it possible to put universal instrument (clock) on kawasaki er6f 2008 year and universal headlight? thanks in advance
@Tremonte6 жыл бұрын
The headlight yes. The instrument cluster, I would have to see the technical specs.

It's not a good idea to just replace parts on a totaled bike. You need to check the frame with a laser, the fork tubes, inners and relieve pressure on the motor mounts. You can get a 2005 ZX6R for the price of this project and will come with better components. I've never heard of dumping money into the 650, that would be like dumping money into an sv instead of GSXR. Otherwise, if money wasn't an issue, (You'd buy a BMW or Ducati) these kind of videos are always fun and I like them. Good job.

Dont get me wrong i like what you do and i love bikes too. But if you goin to put so much time and money into a bike at least doit with a bike than worth it. I got a 2007 ninja 650r whith 3000 miles and only paid $2000 for it

I've watched this a few times and I'm gonna try to restore my 2000 Kawi ZX6r. I've never done anything like this so do I need to start by taking it to a mechanic to assess current state?
@Tremonte5 жыл бұрын
That would be a good place to start if you're unsure of the mechanical condition. You should also look for a shop manual online. That will explain how to test the various sensors and specs for throttle bodies, etc.
@nestyjimenex79036 жыл бұрын
Nice but you can get one of those motorcycle for $2500 dolar with clean tittle no salvege. And you already go for $2900 and no fairing

Bikes don’t sell for that cheap around here unless they are high mileage or in poor condition. And to me, it’s not about the money. It’s all about the love of motorcycles.
