I built this back in Jan 2021. I just took it apart a couple days ago and decided to build the Giant Power Plant with the set. When I built my Merry-Go-Round, I assembled the frame with the horses separately and then mounted it to the base with the motor. That way I didn't have the thing swinging while trying to get the nuts started on the screws. Plus, I could move it around to a more comfortable position while assembling it. Good job. I have both the 1958 10082 and 1959 10083 10-1/2 Amusement Park Sets. I have a scarce 1949 12-1/2 Set that came with both the (A49) motor and a (P55) motor that is powered by an American Flyer transformer included in the set so you can control its speed.

Wth? This is like watching the wizard of oz while playing dark side of the moon. Even the clock in the back is keeping time to the beat. I'm gonna attempt this one with my 10.5 erector amusement park set. Question,,, how many of the park rides does one number 10.5 unit make ?
